Anky weekend

Post by RHTFISH »

Well friends and neighbors...finally got some fish shallow on topwater
early between Anky and Aucilla on past Friday-Sunday mornings.
Tide was falling rapidly so time was limited. Several reds of 20-25"
and limits of trout 16-23" each morning at about 4 feet and add in
a few nice sea bass, sailcats and sharks and it was great time!
By my "not-so-trusty" machine the temps were 82-84 range.
Floating grass was real problem after having to leave creek mouths.
Had camera along so snapped a few pics early...enjoy!

Love the Redfish & Chug Bug.
My favorite topwater but I found out that a +35" Red will straighten out those stock hooks.
