Mashes Sand 9-23-07

Post by Welby »

Skeeter22 and Myself unloaded the boat about daylight Sunday. Fished hard throwing gulp, topwater, and other jigs. For the day we only managed about 5 or so keeper trout, many shorts, four reds (3 slots), and believe it or not, a keeper grouper in 4.5' of water.....I think my fishing partner will have to change his name from Skeeter22 to Grouper23.

A good day of exploring and tricked a few fish as well.

I really enjoyed the day Skeeter ! 8)

:o What the heck. I wish our 2 grouper had been that big. :o What time did you end up getting most of your fish? Did the color tip help? Also what did the grouper hit?

Did you catch that grouper on a trout rod? Sounds fun if so

Grouper gave Mike's Med. action rod and baitcaster quite the pull.

I'm thinking of becoming a guide. I can't catchem but I can put you on'em...... :-D
