Decent place ta stay in Birmingham Al.

My girl will be competing in the National tourney for TaeKwonDo on 10/20/07 at the Jefferson Convention Complex and we will need to stay overnight on the 19th. The Sheraton "which is located on-site" is totally booked and we gotta find a place "closer is better for a small town boy in the big city" :-D Y'all got any ideas or suggestions? :beer: :beer:

I don't think they are booked. They are just skeered a girl will come up there and whoop their butts.

blindhog has family up there....he may know of some suggestions.
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

Ask the Travelocity gnome about that one, and check orbitz.com as well - both sites have user reviews and usually some photos etc.
