Birddog called me the other night and i could tell he was in bad shape. He had the DT's something terrible. I could hear him shaking over the phone. Said he needed to wet a hook or go crazy. He wanted to do a little pond Bass fishing. Met up at the Dog house about 4:30 yesterday with boat in tow and off we went. Dropped the boat in off the side of the pond and an ice cold blue gill ( budlight) was pulled out of the box. First part of the trip was looking like a bust....no fish...no bites...nothing. Birddog was first to get the stink out. Nice one!! BD continued to skunk me for quite awhile cause I was too hard headed to change baits. I finally started throwing a skitter walk and on the second cast got a good one in the boat. Birddog was lay'nm in the livewell like firewood on a rattle trap and a soft jerkbait. We fished till we couldn't see and headed for the hill. final tally was 15 Bass!! nice haul for a 3 hr trip. Birddog was nice enough to let me take the fish home which made my neighbors very happy. The old guy's boats been out of commission for a few weeks and he had a wide grin on his face when I took him the fish this morning. thanks for the fix BD hope you feel better.....

You boys are venturing into an area where you have no idea what you're doing. You need to cease this activity, or take someone, like myself, with you that knows what he's doing.
Great pictures Barhopr, you always have the camera handy. That is what I always forget to do....take pictures!! Well at least that way the fish can be bigger when I tell the story, ha ha.
