I will have online access, how do I search previous years posts for Nov, Dec and Jan ? Do I just keep looking through the pages or is there a search process I can do?

There is a search engine but I miss a lot with it so I find it easier to just go back pages in the Inshore Forum until I get to the right month and then look for relevant posts. I had fun hunting down a few for you. Many are mine because I fish a lot in cold weather. First, here's an admitted gloatin' braggin' pic from a Dec trip.

Wadey, First of listen to any advice Wevans may have, that area is his stomping grounds. I used to fish that area quite a bit, summer and winter. If possible fish a day or two before a cold front comes in, It has seemed to work better for me that way. Second out of the Mashy Sands Ramp when it does get cold, and the wind is blowing, and the skies are bright blue ya should move up river. If it warmer, feel your way around the oyster bars at the river mouth. Chartruse color soft baits seems to work for me in that area, maybe cause the water is usually murky???? If a front moves through and you want to go try fishing at the bridge, right in the channel. Work your sotf plastics very very slow, just bump them off the bottom. You will catch as many short trout as you want, but very very few keepers. You could also knock off some oysters from the pilings, get a very small, but store hook, put a small piece of shrimp on it and fish straight down the side of the pileing you just knocked the qysters off of. Thats like ringing the dinner bell for any Sheepshead that might be around. They bite quick so you got to be ready to set the hook, but the are very very tasty, and seem to be the only fish I have found that don't stop eating when the weather gets cold. If you have a depth gauge look for deeper holes in the channel from the oyster bars all the way up to the state park. My next bite of advice would be to get some maps of the area, flyover pictures work best for me. So you know from the bridge north to the river mouth the middle of the bay is very shallow. Try Exploring some the creeks up stream, and off the river. Some have springs just off of them and will hold fishs because they have much warmer water kicking out. I can't tell you where they are cause I once promised an angler from this forum I wouldn't tell anyone but its always worth a shot to find some of them. Next you need to probably have a fresh and saltwater fishing liscense. You may at any time catch both species in both places. I hope this helps.

Yes I am looking forward to exploring the creeks up river and certainly wouldn't expect any exact locations....that's one of the great things about fishing, finding the hot spots yourself, I don't have a need to be catching fish all the time, just a need to be fishing and the fact that most of my fishing is catch and release [with the occasional one for the pot] I don't have to be hooking into big specimens, if I hit into small trout then I just get the ultralight gear out and have more fun.

This is the Mashes Sands/Aligator Point area, you can zoom in and out, move in all directions and useing the Print feature, print out what you want

The ones that I want to keep on the boat, I have laminated to keep the moisture off of them

I also love useing this program to map out things and it is very accurate on the feed times also

It is called FishBytes and interacts with Google Earth

Just in response to your comment about fishing in November...the fall is my favorite time to fish..so come expecting. You were right about the cold fronts. Try to fish before them (you'll do real good), but after the front passes it usually takes 2-3 days before the fish bite well again. If you are really bold, you could get real native during this slack time and get a cast net and try to catch mullet off that dock you mentioned.

PerryFisherMan..been coming over to Florida now for the past 15 years or so [except last year, went to Belize, big mistake, I missed Florida] Previously stayed on Anna Maria Island just south of Tampa, it has now got so full of tourists [yep I know I'm one but I hate crowds] tried AGP 2 years ago, love the area the peace and quiet and the people, laid back, and easy going, so I'm back again, I have a cast net and will be after the Mullet, last time there were Shrimp in the bay also!
One other question 99% of the time I lure fish as light as I can get away with, I have some Squid jigs that I have not had chance to use, do Squid show up around the docks at night in the AGP area, and would a light encourage them, great to eat
