Busted my son out of school, he has way too many A's and got wife off work to try fishing out of St. Marks. Beautiful day on the water, little too foggy in the early am, but was burned off by 10:30am, tried around the oyster bars because of the fog, fishy looking water, lots of bait and current, but no luck, headed out to the east flats,
The fish seemed to be really scattered, picked up one here and there,
Brought back a nice dinner of trout, caught about 20 fish through out the day,
trout, rock bass, lady fish and just a few catfish, no macks, we did see them jumping, but rarely.

Used everything, jigs, W and WO CT, plugs, shrimp. Everything kind of worked, but I think small plugs that stayed a couple of feet down and
jigs with out CT worked best. No luck with Pin fish and CT.

I also heard a report of a helicopter being sent to rescue a boat that was sinking
this morning, sounded a little hairy.
