Aucilla 10-13.....spoon curse broken

Post by Redbelly »

Met a kayaker at the landing at 12:30, he said wind was ruff and no bite for him. Had enough water at 1:00 to back the boat in. Wind continued to die down, for once NOAA had it right! Went out for trout but no bites, fished with everything I had. Water was a bit stained.

Reds were biting up in da creeks, and my gold spoon curse was broken. The Capt Mike's gold spoon with the red dot and red wire broke my spoon curse, I now have full confidence in the piece of metal with a hook. :-D
You can get one of the curse breakers at SGO in Cairo! 8)

Caught a few reds, kept one. Caught a Spanish, gonna try him sauteed in garlic butter and onions.

I have GOT to learn to throw a cast net, mullets were all around in large numbers. :o

Beautiful day out there.

Will post some pics later.
