CATCHIN ST. MARKS

Post by FUTCHCAIRO »

WELL FINALLY AFTER ABOUT 8 MONTHS THE TWO OLD MEN OF THE SEA GOT A TRIP IN TO THE BAY. WE LAUNCHED AT 7 A.M. , SUN JUST COMING UP IN THE EAST. THE WEATHER WAS JUST GREAT BUT THE FISHIN WAS NOT. WE USED EVERYTHING IN THE BOX AND FINALLY CAME UP WITH THE FOLLOWING CAUGHT FISH
16 SMALL TROUT, NO KEEPERS
2 LADIES
4 ROCK BASS
1 12" GROUPA
I ROBIN, FIRST ONE I HAVE EVER CAUGHT
4 SMILIES
4 SHARKS
2 HARDHEAD CATS
2 SAILCATS
1 BLOWFISH
ABOUT 50 PINS
CAUGHT THE SHARKS, CATS, BLOWFISH, AND MANY PINS ON GULP, GULP YOU KNOW THAT GREAT BAIT.
ONLY CAUGHT 1 SMALL TROUT ON TOP WATER, CAUGHT 2 TROUT THAT I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES, WERE ONLY 6 INCHES LONG. WE REALLY ENJOYED BEING BACK OUT ON THE WATER AGAIN, JUST WISH WE COULD HAVE CAUGHT SOME KEEPER TROUT. THE WEATHER WAS JUST PERFECT. GUESS WE WILL HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO FISH AGAIN SINCE IT HAS BEEN SO LONG.

Sure have been missing your reports Mr. Futch!

Sounds like you stayed busy with trashers!

Been so long I guess those big ole trout just didn't recognize you! :-D
