Jr. Angler of the Year !

Post by Welby »

Congrats to Colby Melton for winning Jr. Angler of the year ... He and Austin Trent battled it out to the final bell. I'd say we better all beware if these two start boating together for tournaments in the years to come. I had the honor of fishing some of the tournaments with Colby and his Dad where I was able to pick up a few pointers on how to boat some trout not to mention Redfish, Jack Cravelle, Shark, Blues, Macks, and other interesting fish types. Highlite of the year was when Colby had what appeared to be about a 25" Trout at the boatside and Mike couldn't get the fish in the net. The father and son look that was shared between the two when the fished came unbuttoned was priceless !! :o What am I laughing about, I'm sure my face wasn't much better...

Thanks for the ride Colby !!!

Glad they can't drive themselves or we would all be in trouble if they team up.
