I have a 21v center concole Sea Pro Bay Boat. I have problems when I am putting fuling in. The fuel backs up in the filler hose and over flows like it is full but it isn't. Does anyone have simmiler problems and if so what did you do to solve them.
YA NEED TO RUN A WIRE UP THE VENT LINE TO YOUR TANK, DIRT-DOBBERS LOVE TO BUILD THEIR NEST THERE. I PUT A PIECE OF MASKING TAPE OVER MINE WHEN I COME IN, BE SURE TO REMOVE BEFORE YOU FUEL UP AGAIN.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like the same problem I had with the filler hose between the gunnel cap and tank being too long and having a crimp in it.
More than likely, if you don't fix it, the filler hose will eventually get a hole in it at the crimp from rubbing on the inside of the hull. When that happens, you will begin to see and smell fuel in your bilge.
