Sorry for the late post. Had some free time Sunday so I decided to collect some crabs and do a little fishing. Managed to gather 8 claws in short order then turned to the fishing. Let the rising tide push me in shallow and spent most of my day in about 18" of water. Saw some huge trout, but they were very spooky in the clear, shallow water. Did pretty well on the reds including this one (26")who ate a jerk bait in about 8" of water. I could see him patrolling some grass and tossed out in front of him hoping he wouldn't spook; he inhalled it on the way pass and the pond-like conditions were suddenly chaotic. After that it was time to leave before getting stuck high dry.

Probably walking oyster bars and digging them up with a shovel. Their holes usually only go back a foot or 2.
That is a huge claw.
