Lanark 11/17

Post by noleflyfisher »

Fished the last three hours of the fall and the first two of the rise. Found fish at my third stop of the morning. Very lethargic and not real interested in moving to eat the fly. As the water warmed the fish got happier. Ended the day at 3:00 with about a dozen or so fish. Olive and gold and black and gold bendbacks (with rattles) were the bugs de jour.

:lick: That looks like some kind of a "Golden Sparkle Bend Back fly hanging out of the cheeks of that fine redfish there, Nole! Very nice fish on the fly, guy. Would you like to share the tying of that fly?
