I caught 2 trout, 1 keeper, 1 short. Caught them on a mid depth plug, over oysters and rocks at the cut.
One guy was trolling the river around the landing and got his limit. He was trolling during the falling tide.
Another boat fished around the island at the cut and had 4 trout, 1 red, 2 sheep.
Another boat had 9 trout and I think they were there real early out on the flats.
I was about to go on out and returned to the river when I heard the report about the guy in the river.

Catching trout trolling the Aucilla, sounds like winter may be here.

Nice work. Wonder if the fish get confused with the 1-2 day cold snap, followed by a week or so of warm weather.

Last year on friday after thanksgiving I witnessed a boat running over another boat, he threw his wife in the drink!
Luckily noone was hurt....really really lucky..he was wot!
It will be full of boats
