St. Marks 11/20 Evening

Post by Rainman »

Hello all. Been reading for awhile and thought I'd share. My roommate and I have been night fishing the oyster bars of the St. Marks over the past month or two and been tearing them up. Last night brought home five trout and two reds. Biggest trout was about 4 pounds. That makes my sixth 4+lb trout over the past 2.5 months and my first limit of trout, mullet and pinfish are the ticket. I caught all five trout last night and my roommate caught all three reds. Large red was 24 on cut mullet. Sunday was even better. Let go close to a dozen or more reds. All were keeper size or over. Put countless 24'rs back in the pond and a few over the slot. Doesn't seem to matter what tide, as long as water is moving. Got a lot of pics, I'll read up on posting and get back to it. I appreciate all the posts and great wealth of info on this site.

Fish are wet all the time, rain or shine.

some pics added. When the bite was on it was tough to get pics. Haven't been out lately so I'm not sure how the cold has affected the bite.
