A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
The wind is blowing so I figured I'd clean up my fly boxes. Those stinking Plano boxes don't keep the flies in place so they slide around and lose their shape. So, periodically I have to toss out a bunch of deformed flies. I devised a cheap solution today and thought I'd share:
I've got four more boxes to work through. When it's all said and done I should have a few dozen flies that I'll be throwing away. If any one wants them, let me know. Most of them will regain their shape once they hit the water.
I'll take 'em if nobody else wants 'em. Can you also whip me up a few of those boxes, teach me how to tye the flies, and then teach me how to fish? I'm kind of needy.
Looks good Nole
"Why does Sea World have a seafood restaurant?? I'm halfway through my fish burger and I realize, Oh man....I could be eating a slow learner."
I use those same foam stickon sheets in black color for a sunshade for my GPS on bright days. I just cut then in half, and use a half to stick on top of the GPS. Works great, and at the end of the day I peel off and throw away....

The more I know about something, the more I know that I did not know as much as I thought I knew that I knew.
millstream makes what is called a boat patch, out of rippled foam. Has an adhesive on the back and comes in 12x14 sheets. I had a few old clear VHS tape I put it in as storage boxes. could be used on the boat but their not water proof.
Good looking assortment of redfish bugs Chalk. Also, great idea with the scrap book holder. Wish I would have seen it before I ordered this earlier today
