Reel Maintenance

Post by jsuber »

I was reading some other sites and copied some of the links to sites for reel maintenance.

Take the time once a month at least to clean up those reels so they last a good long time.

These are great tips. Thanks for posting, Jeff. I have used 'Simple Green' for years .. interesting to see it here as a recommended cleaner.

One other thought ... I have a Shakespeare reel that I urinate all over on a regular basis. This has nothing to do with maintenance .. has everything to do releasing pent up anger and frustration .. I'm sure that everyone has at least one of these.

Thanks for the links, I can take care of mine next week while I'm hanging around the house.
