Anybody out there got the new humminbird 997 sidefinder?

I get to see one in action this week on a buddy's boat. I'm interested in seeing it, I'll make a post after I see it hopefully with some pics.

My buddy grayson has one and says its awesome out to 100' foot. Pretty sweet.

Already took off for for Friday, looking good according to NOAA. We are going to a couple of spots that we have dove, so we know what we should be seeing. I ready to go and it helps that we are going to get a few dives in.

FRIDAY
NORTH WIND 5 TO 10 KNOTS. SEAS 1 FOOT OR LESS. PROTECTED
WATERS SMOOTH.

The images were amazing and the ability to mark a point off to the side was nice. We had engine problems and had to run in after dark, so I didn't get any pictures. The detail of the images is very impressive.

Awesome....I am really interested in those units. Try to get some pictures next time I would love to see how a ledge shows up on that thing.
