Got up late...had nothing ready...was about to have a panic attack while I was still at the house and the tide was bottoming out

Finally got everything in order and headed to the ramp...First spot I wanted to fish was a nice flat I had fished with Barhopr once...wanted to see what was home…did not see a thing until the last 100 yards of the flat...saw a fish, saw another...made a cast to it...nothing…recast...denied again :smt013 ....third cast, your going to eat or I’m going to snatch hook your azz :o  ...pay dirt

First fish of the day

Got the long pole out...had a good shot at two nice fish that I blew

Moved onto another new spot...nutt'n

Moved to third spot...looking at the water...I was thinking it looks to shallow, about then the water rose up a foot and parted in two directions around the boat :o ...I had the long pole in hand and didn't have enough line to make a 70 ft cast...so I patiently watched them swim off :smt010

I ease on down the bank...see the school circling back around...I get the spoon out and fire it down range...got a hit, but I snatched it out of it's mouth.

I finally convince one of the school leaders to eat and get the second fish of the day.

2nd fish of the day

I continue to see school upon school of reds come by that I can't reach or they refuse to eat...I tried to put a number on the amount of fish I saw, I couldn't do it and sound credible, not that I normally do  ...I saw an azz load of fish, it was unreal to see and painful to watch them refuse my offerings.

I move on to another spot and see a few more fish...I hook another nice fish with alot of spots...I get it to the boat and the leader breaks as I try to grab the fish…was the best fish of the day too, that’s the breaks.

I guess my camera is on the downward spiral…the pics came out like crap…took some more at home and they are just as blurry.

Had a blast, can’t wait til next time…

Nice report Chalk. It's tough when their schooled up and you've got a couple hundred eyes on the look out.
