Got to the Lighthouse at around 9:00 the water was real low. We took a 14' Jon Boat good thing or we would have been stuck. We headed toward the Rock Garden first thing, we were after my buddy Dave's first redfish. All the rocks that were out of the water were amazing, I can't remember seeing them on a -.58 tide before. That was new to me. Back to fishing, David was the first one to catch anything

Caught a couple more trout, which was nice but was not what we were after. We then headed to Grey Mare rock we set up a drift riding with the tide straight toward the hill. Found a new hole or two holding trout. We then got in about 15-18" of water over spotty bottom. David sets the hook, drag starts to scream, his first words I think I have a Shark. The fish rolls and there is the redfish we were looking for.

Five minutes later he hooks up with this one 23"

I fished topwater 95%of the day with a pink skitterwalk.
It was fun watching this baby blow up on it. 23"

All in all[/img] a good day. Nothing like watching a man lose his Redfish "V" card. Headed to the hill at about 3:00 Had to walk the boat out the first 300'
Total for the day
1 popped cherry
3 Redfish
8 trout
Let me get them Numbers!!!!!!!!

I remember when I lost my "v" card. Once you go red, you never go back!
