My new topwater
Thought y'all might think this was cool...I'm gonna order a pack and test them out on the trout and reds...I know Ty has thrown the big eels before and I don't see why these wouldn't work...it could just be a gimmick, but I love trying new stuff...

Boom goes the dynamite.
I fished Hannon's original 2 part snake in the 80's - it had a foam head and rubber worm tail. Caught some huge bass on it!

Anybody remember when ole Doug guided at Lake Jackson?
$100 a day and if you didn't catch a bass over 10# the trip was free.
It was "rumored" he made clients sign an oath of secrecy to his
specialty...a spinning 6" Creme worm setup on a kahle hook.
A friend of mine introduced me to it in '70 and we caught literally
thousands of bass from Lake Jackson with the rig including about
15 @ 10# and at least a dozen over 12#. It was our ONLY
daylight lure and it also worked well at night when we also
fished a Musky Jitterbug on a surf rod for fun. We probably didn't catch as many large bass as the "shiner" guys but we had one hell of a good
time for several years. We kept a camper at Red and Sam's until the highway dept. made us move and we moved to Matthew Rollin's property
behind Brill Point for several years....a true paradise for us and our kids.
Great Memories!

Re: My new topwater
We called that thing a wacky worm and it was an amazing bait!
I have so many memories of Lake Jackson- hope it comes back one day.
