Barhopr wrote:what kind of files can be uploaded Tom? how about a list and what are the size limits? What happened to the gallery?
Pretty much any file can be uploaded. The current file size limit is 256k, but I can change it. What you are looking at now is pretty much the stock out of the box. The gallery was a feature on the other forum version that was an add on. No such add-on exists for the new version, yet.

Once again its probably just the very pastel colours.
I agree 100%, and that also can be adjusted. I will play with that.

Also, I didn't see a new posts button to just read the new posts like on this system.

Lots of blue too.

What software is that one?
PHPBB3. We are currently running PHPBB2

I fixed the ids so they are on the left.

The new posts link is along the top called "View new posts".

UTC - 5. The banner needs work.
The board is defaulted to the UTC -5. Your profile button shows up if you are logged in at the top left. Its called "User Control Panel".

This is the second time after you got touchy about a post I made you have taken a pot shot at me I deleated the reply I wrote to the first one.

Third time should be the charm but don't say a word when it comes.

I think I addressed most of the concerns voiced already. I encourage everyone to play with it some more and let me know of any other things you find.

Probably in the next 2 weeks. I just have to decide if I want to go with the new software or stick with the old.

This maybe a dumb question but will the posts from this forum "move" to the new one?

Yes most definitely.
snatch-n-reel wrote:Is the new site going to have a main page like the one now?
Yes. When I say "new site" what I really mean is a new web host and new forum software. The site as it is now will be unchanged to your eyes once the move is complete.

Folks, I encourage everyone to test this and let me know. We will be moving to this software sometime in the next couple of weeks.

If there are any features you miss from this board, please be aware that I will be constantly adding new features as they become available.
