Late Post - Talquin 11/21 No Specs

Wasn't gonna post because I didn't even get a bite, but I figure a no fish post is semi useful.

Put in at Coe's around noon, fished 10'-25' from the iron curtain to about half way up the river to 90 with no luck at all. Fished open water and brush and logs on the bottom with 16oz jigs in multiple colors. Didn't catch a single fish but it was a beautiful day and the boat ran great. Back at Coe's around 4pm. I guess the specs just aren't up the river yet.

I also logged the trip on the GPS and it was interesting to see the track up the river on Google earth.

Since we didn't catch any fish we headed in town to Spears and picked up a bushel of oysters and some shrimp to go along with Grouper I caught on Monday 11/19 for some great seafood gumbo.
