Pond fish'in

Post by DixieReb »

Sorry for the late post. Me and Dad fished with a friend at a great speck pond Sat. morning 12/15. The specks were awesome, they bit as soon as we got there on minnows, rooster tails, beetle spins and small rattletraps. We also got 3 nice bass to 2 lbs. and 3 bream. In an hour and a half, we caught about 40 nice crappie some over a lb. Cleaned 2 5 gallon buckets over half full each. Best fishing I've done in a while, they bit right ahead of the rain we got Sat. I had the first speck almost eaten by a real big bass, he struck at it on the way in. I'd loved to have seen him. :smt004
