Updated Photos: Why I haven't had time to fish or hunt...

Post by bman »

Just moved my parents into their new home.
They have lived in the same home for almost 40 years.
Its been a long process and it has taken almost all of my free time.

My wife and I built this home for them and we will take over the old house. Tonight they will sleep at the new house for the first time.
They are still getting used to it - had to show them how to use the shower valve tonight. H = Hot water C = Cold water

Hopefully I'll be chasing a few more fish and birds now :smt041
At least until we start remodeling the old house... :smt107

Very nice house.

I like the sturdiness and insulation qualities of the construction.

How do the construction costs compare to a regular stick built home?

Between 5-10% I'll post when I get my final numbers together.
The hardest part was working with subs who had never see the ICF!
Lots of time educating them.
