I got tired of playing with "gooh" last night and tied up some Borski Redfish Sliders. Mine are a little more buggy than the originally, but I like nothing better than a big Hors D'oeuvre, so does Mr. Redfish, Bon appetit
Redfish Slider
Hook: Mustad 34007 size 1 or 2.
Thread: Brown flat waxed nylon (140 denier).
Tail: Brown craft fur with a couple of strands of copper Flashabou or Krinkle Flash on each side.
Wing: Palmered neck saddles.
Head: Brown deer body hair, flared.
Weed Guard: 12-pound test Mason
Note: When buying craft fur you want to buy the extra select craft fur, regular craft will work, it's just more work. You'll get twice the mileage out of a piece of select craft fur over regular craft fur.

Re: Redfish Slider
looks good chalk. I think borski trims his a little more to be more flat, "merkin" like. Looks like that thing will push alot of water.

Very nice Chalk. I like that color scheme as well.
