Got a break after the Christmas rush and went looking. It really was colder than I expected but not cold enough for the fish to be deep. I found some very nice +20" trout just off a ledge in about 3feet over hard bottom. They hit Mirrolures until a pair of snorting pigs chased everything away. Never found another fish after that.
10 total trout and a token Redfish.

Great day Litt. Enjoyed reading the report..From reading you're posts from the past, it looks like you've about mastered catching gators in the winter! Keep it up.
I took my yak to Spring Creek after a morning of no luck around Dickerson Bay. I was about to put in and decided to head to the house and warm my arse. I'll join you next time if you want to go. Looked like a good time.

Cool Hand Luke. Top 5 movie for me. I think it's because as a kid it was the scene with
the chick washing the car that I suddenly realized what it was all about.
The eggs, escaping and running, digging and filling and digging and filling the hole,
all cool scenes, but the car wash...
