Hello to all

Post by Capt_J »

I've been fishing Florida waters for many years.....Bahamas, Dry Tortugas, East coast, Keys, West coast and Big Bend. I've been visiting the forum site and have been both impressed and inspired. As a life long fisherman, and recent USCG Capt, I respect and enjoy our great waters and I look forward to sharing great fishing experiences with you all. Tight lines to you all.... :smt006

Thankyou for the kind welcome.
For most of my life, home base was Central Florida, until an assignment to Georgia.
I (we, wife and I) are coming home to Florida... have purchased a small piece of land a few miles inland from Keaton Beach, and will be building in late 2008 (so the plan goes...)....anyone knowing a residential contractor who builds in the Keaton area, we would welcome contact info. I took a recent 'mental health' day to Alligator Point area; have pictures.......will investigate how to post.

With ya on the mental help. From the report I would think you're feeling pretty good now.
  Great job & welcome to the neighborhood.
Nice folks around here, pretty much full of themselves like everywhere else but grown up enough to know it.
Looking forward to your input & learning something from you.
Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.

Welcome Capt. J. I'm sure you'll enjoy the Keaton beach area. There are lot's of neat places to explore (fish) near there, tidal creeks, ect. Not to mention the best darn flats fishing in the world.
