Not much to report, other than to say I went.
Mom, Dad, wife and myself launched the reel cowboy this morning around 8:00, into pretty stout wind and headed north.
The second cast of the new Mirrolure from Christmas landed a 14 1/2" trout.
That's it, Mom and Christy got cold and tired of the wind so when we brought them back in Dad decided he'd had enough as well. Stopped back at the camper fro some grilled steaks, a nap and some TV. Back in Moultrie by 5:30.
It's been a great year of fishing (time on the water if nothing else) and some truly great fellowship. Look forward to trying more tactics on catching the elusive 15"+ trout and 18"-27" redfish in 2008. I'm not greedy just like them fried fish sandwiches.
