Piney Island Last Day of 2007

Post by Talltails »

Suber and I left out of Shell Point and drove the big loop around Piney(25 miles) The fish were tight lipped all morning. Suber picked up a nice slot red, and I caught a decent sized trout, but we definitely weren't tearin' em up. We drove up into spring creek, but didn't even see any bait. At least the sightseeing was nice. It turned out to be a good day to reminisce about all the fishing we did in 2007. I definitely have some good memories from this last year. Happy 2008 to everyone :smt006

Good time. Got to talk about Forum etiquette, forum cliques, and forum replies. Also did a lot of talking about how much our fishing has improved because of the kayak and boat clubs and forums. Bad weather and good day to be in a safe platform like a 19' Carolina Skiff.
