Aucilla 1/6 with Tin Can

Post by SHOWBOAT »

Ran home from visiting my 'rents at CSB on Sunday and stopped by TC's to see if he wanted to catch the afternoon, falling tide. We proceeded down to the Aucilla where the GMC Jimmy I drive (not for much longer  ) decided it wouldn't run anymore. I had pulled in behind some folks that were parked just to take off the trailer straps, etc, and now it wouldn't move, grrrrr. TC was able to remedy the problem, and about an hour after anticipated we were in the water. Thanks to all those who were putting in/taking out and loaned us tools. Only had time to fish one creek, but we made it count. Landed 10-12 upper slot trout in short order. Light jigs were the ticket. Didn't see a red the entire time.

Had fun TC, sorry for the technical difficulties. Couldn't have chosen a better fishing parter/mechanic for the day :D

Well do it again shortly, but not this evening as I'll be watching football...
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.

Sounds like a good day. Weird how one group can catch trout on the fourth and sixth but no one can on the fifth.
