Duck Hunting on the 31st...

Post by bman »

I finished work early and decided to hit a private pond for a few hours before a new years eve party.
Within 15 min of setting out the decoys got this nice Drake GWT
Image
Almost nothing else came into the decoys..
I got one Ringneck hen and then had a Drake dive on me just after it hit.
I polled around looking for it but it never came back up.
I hate losing a bird like that.

Finally- I took this photo at the end of the day. I know that sunsets can be a little cheesy; But, it may be one of my best ever.

Wonderful way to finish the year!

Way to go Bman, I love the greenies. I gues your pond is outside of this county since I know there aint no ducks in Leon....
