Good to hear the insurance came through. Actually was recommended to go to Progressive when I asked another insurance company about boat insurance. Sounds like I'm glad I listened.

Sorry to hear about the prop BD.....been there, done that. Hopefully you didn't get a $600 tow bill like we did....insurance covered all the damage and tow minus deductible thank goodness. Hopefully yours will be the same....
Rocket, I'm about ready to put down the rifle and pick up the rod too. I think the deer have left for the year....either that or we killed 'em all
Hadn't been on the water in 3 months now.....got to change that!

It can happen to any of us. I've run out of places a thousand times only to run out one time and bump a "new" rock. I also misjudged a big sand bar out of Steinhatchee once and almost landed my former Boston Whaler up high and nearly dry. If you ain't bumpin', you probably ain't near the fishbirddog wrote:yep....jp plate up, but I was just trimming out the motor. I believe the problem occurred when I had to make a hard 90 degree turn to the left. That exposed the prop out to the left side.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

This should be the last weekend for deer, mix in a quail hunt or two, and I'm done hunting until spring gobbler season.dolphinatic wrote:Rocket, I'm about ready to put down the rifle and pick up the rod too. Contact Captain Joel Singletary at SeaTow and get the NFGFC discount on a SeaTow membership. About $135 a year and all the tows you can stand.dolphinatic wrote:Sorry to hear about the prop BD.....been there, done that.
