1/11/08 "Lit" em Up!

Post by Littoral »

I called a buddy of mine early this week to see if he could work out an afternoon trip Friday and
all week it looked like the weather was conspiring against us. We got rained on but went anyway.
We started at about 2:00 and I caught a nice trout on my first cast.
Gotta love that, but as good as it seems we all know it can also be a curse.
We had to work at it after that but we caught about 10 nice trout each over the next 2 hours:

My buddy had a supper deal to get to and left at 4:30.
I kept at it and found 2 nice reds:

I caught another stray trout and then went to try another spot for the hour I had left.
Once in a long it while happens. +20" trout on almost every cast until dark chased me home. :o
I don't know how many I caught but my arms are wore out. 25-30.
I stopped long enough to snap one:

I left them biting and paddled back in the dark.
