Anybody looked at tides that day? I'm not sure I can get in and get to Jerry's by 3:30 from Anky?
Early am tides are going to be very marginal for safely getting launched and out the river.

Anyone want to start a little side-pot on heaviest two person redfish limit? Some people are fishing alone so heaviest red is going to win the tourney...I think it'd be cool to have a side-pot for the big two...what do y'all think?

Rht: I've got high tide at 3.2' at around 3 a.m., low tide at -.5 at 9:30 a.m. I guess it depends on what time you get down there...you could always put in somewhere else and run to the usual spots or fish a new area until you had enough water to put in at the Econfina... You'd have plenty of water coming back in.

You're right Jeff...I'd forgotten about that when I posted earlier. I just thought that if it was a redfish tourney, we might as well have a pot for the team with the best two reds...understand that those in kayaks would be unfairly penalized...spots is a good idea.

Birddog confirmed at the last meeting the side pot would be red with most spots. Casey Cook confirmed he would do the side pot if BD could not attend.
At least that is what I remember.

That would probably be best (most spots), but if Casey is doing the pot, its up to him.

I'll do it. Most spots it is.

Cost is $10 per person per boat. If one on the boat enters, all must.

If any team is feeling especially frisky, another $5 will get you into the 2 fish team pot.
