If I passed along everything we talk about I might have to ban myself

Re: Answers to reel repair
Thanks for that link, hadn't fished in a few years but after hanging out on this forum for a while got my intrest up and I drug out the fishing gear and dusted it of(still can chunk a spoon on my baitcaster without a mess)
but my favorite,a AREO 4000 one of the first sold by Bass Pro is locked up. Was looking for somewhere to take it but may try to fix it myself now.

Has anyone other than RD checked out the site?
If so, what do you think of it?

Re: Answers to reel repair
I've known about it for years.
The website is great with all of the schematics, but their prices on parts are crazy. They used to have great prices and service, but the last two orders I placed with them took forever to get and cost three times as much as who I use now. Just my .02

Mike's Reel Repair is located in Canada. I have tried him and his service is terrible plus HIGH prices.
