Spring Warrior Jan 16, 2008

Post by Fisherman989 »

Had two friends that went to Spring Warrior yesterday.....if you can believe it. Cold and rainey all day too. One of the guys said he had on almost everything to wear that he owned....and he liked to have froze. Never did get warm.
They drifted in the high wind too fast to fish...mostly...but did manage to catch 5 trout and 1 redfish for their effort. Had it to themselves too.
They didn't tell me where they caught their fish...but they have been fishing the oysterbars and grass line to the south of Spring Warrior. They had an air boat too.
It was too bad a day for me to go forth. :-?
