I think I have (with everyones help) narrowed down my choices....I am thinking I might head down to advantage...and check their rods out... Has anyone tested the quantum energy reels?

So when my wife say my rod is inadequate for inshore fishing she's actually talking about red fish right? :smt075

I also visit to check out the Okuma Guide series.
I actually prefer ML Rods inshore with M for topwater.
All are 7ft and with braid I can't figure why I would need to cast farther.

LITT... I feel I need to cast further to cover more ground.... I mean if Im not going to catch a fish (as in my last 2 trips) I want to be able to at least snag a gull or duck or something.... :bang_1
