I bumped into Birddog and Reelslow at a duck hunt yesterday. They sure were knocking them down.

I bet ya'll are tired of swimming after all those birds. Bet ya'll could use a good pick up dog or two so you can save your energy for calling/shooting. :D

Been there, CT (aging dog). I'm guilty of trying to compare some of the pups in recent years to a "machine" of a retriever that passed a few years back. Wife tells me: "there was only one of him, now move on and give the others a chance."
