I also finished my new flood and drain pond at the farm other than installing the water control devices. Gonna see if I can get some quality shooting close to home next year.
Guess its time to start sharpening some hooks

Actually, the ducks moved into Florida very early this year. My problem this year has been my normal holes have been dry. But what you say is true, normally, I see a LOT of ducks hanging around in February. I've talked with a lot of folks about an extended season and it seems this is locked in by treaty. I know a couple of guys who protest that treaty every yeartin can wrote:MD, I haven't duck hunted in 15 years. But, from your writeup, it's still about the same. It's always the end of the season when the ducks start to move in. Wouldn't it be nice if the season ran till the middle or end of Feb.
Feds say the treaty will not allow them to extend the season past Jan 31...dang itBlindHog wrote:So we need another split in the season to extend some of the 55 days the Feds allow into Feb.
