Cheap alternative to a custom fabricated foil. I fabricate them for a few drag teams and the Allison racing team does use them. Anything that helps you get on plane faster and keeps more boat out of the water is good. You get what you pay for. My .02

It stopped my boat from porpusing when I tried to trim it up, and it increased my top end speed by 4 knots. :D

I don't have any porpoising or other problems on my Carolina Skiff would it be of any benefit anyway?

Catch 22 how much would it cost to have one custom made?

What did it do for you guys skiffs?
Yesterday it was taboo today it is normal what the heck will they be doing tomorrow?

If you want a good stainless one that is not custom made for around $100, look for the cobra brand. I think I got mine from Overtons.
