Aucilla 2-2-08

Post by Jumptrout51 »

Left Aucilla ramp about 9 a.m. First stop saw about 20 nice reds on a rock pile. No matter what we threw, not a bite. :( We drifted over them, swimming all under the boat, nothing. :( Went thru a creek. :) Sheephead. Not a bite no matter what we threw. :( Into another creek,a tournament grade trout. That was it. :( Another creek saw several single, double, triple reds. :) Shy from the lure. :( Follow it to the boat. :( Not a bite. :( Another creek a flounder follows the lure to the boat. :) Sniff, look, swim circles around it. :-? Not a bite. :( Another creek reds follow the lure to the boat. :) Push them away with the rod. :( Not a bite. :x

If there were 20 Reds on a rockpile, its been my experience, they are dead, and thats probably why they didn't bite.

At least you got out, I plan on fishing around there tomorrow.
