Piney Island reds 2/3

Post by flounderpounder »

TallTails and I decided to take one of our skiffs out instead of the kayaks, to prefish an area we caught fish last year in. We started the day with a number of puppy reds and as the tide started moving the trout moved in pretty thick. We managed a number of trout from20" and reds to 22" until about 12:00 and the bite slowed, we ended up taking it to the hill around 1:00.
Overall a pretty good day, we saw a ton of fish and were pretty stoked about another new area we found.
One of a few fish in this size range.

Good job. I fished the backside of Piney in my kayak today, and only saw a few fish. You guys must have had the magic spot.

Not too shabby for a couple of part time yakkers.
