Redfish with a Pelican

Post by Littoral »

(title courtesy of Barhopr)
Any clue you can get in February is a good thing.
A Pelican diving on “bait” got my attention. On the third try the Pelican came up anything but empty.
I got a short video and tried to help but could never get close enough.
Best I could tell in the video is that it was a Redfish because the outline of the fish shaking the
birds completely-stuffed-pouch had the shoulders of a red.
And because I fished the same water after the video and caught 4 slot Redfish.
