Paradise Island in April...

Post by SHOWBOAT »

Woooohoooo!

The company I work for just announced the winners of this year's incentive trip, and I was selected. Location is the Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas.

Anybody ever been? I'm assuming they have bone fish but don't know what else . I'll be doing quite a bit of research before I leave, but any first hand knowledge would be appreciated; fishing or otherwise.

Only bad news is that I'll be missing the April tourney, but I guess I can handle that.

Thanks in advance for any info.
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.

Nassau has a good water ferry that can shuttle you around to the out islands if you want to give that shot. I am going to Eleuthera in May and we tentatively plan on taking the water ferry from Nassau over to North Eleuthera. Good bonefishing there. Regardless, you can have a good shot at bonefish on the south side of Nassau. I have personally never bonefished on Nassau but I am familiar with a few that have and they all said it was WELL worth the money to hire a guide. There are numerous flats that not convenient for wade fishing. Also, permit and barracuda are a target but not as readily available as bonefish.
