NFGFC Redfish Tournament 2/9/08
What a day. The weather could not have been better. And we had 29 boats participate in today's tournament.
Congratulations to Bryce Hill, Eric Keyser, and Ryan Anderson on their win. They brought a 7.56 lb red to the scales.
Also, Congratulations to Susie Bush. she brought in a 17.5" Sheepshead, and won the Badcock and More mystery fish pot. That's $100, donated by Jay Evans.
Larry Cobb put on a feast today. He prepared barbecued pork, beans and bread.
Most everyone went home with some sort of prize, thanks to our sponsors.
The tournament check in and weigh in were run out of Jerry's Bait and Tackle. Those fine folks also donated 3 gift certificates for the raffle. Theresa and crew, thanks for the use of your facility, and all of your support.

Re: NFGFC Redfish Tournament 2/9/08
What a great tournament and some super fish as well! The Spot Red Side-pot paid out a cool $470 and was won by John Vatter and Mike Runyan with a 20 spot red. Heckuva fish guys.
Congrats to Eric, Bryce and Ryan...nice way to introduce yourself to the club!
There were some great prizes given away from all of our great sponsors...A Falcon rod, Polar Bear Cooler, Capt. Mike's Spoons, Mirrolures, Attwood Flashlights, Bite-A-Baits, Hogy Lures, and a Seatow Membership were given away. Many thanks to them!
Here are a few pics from the weigh-in:
Eerman with his new Polar Bear cooler

Little hottie that won the Falcon Coastal Inshore rod...and his girlfriend (just kidding)

$470 worth of spots

Chalk's red caught on a Gulp! And in the background was by far the most popular person at the weigh-in

Nice one

Nice fat red and a typical kayaker in the background (no offense fp and talltails)

Fishfeeder fully extended

Welby and Skeeter putting a hurtin' on 'em

Bassboys (again featured in the background is the most popular person at the weigh-in)

P-I-G

Snatch-n-reel with a good'un

Flounderpounder with a nice one

Team CIA

Good fish
