I cought this little guy Tuesday while mowing my lawn. Anybody know the species? Thanks

they're really cool. Super fast on a warm day. Their tales will come off when distressed just like a normal lizard. They like warm coastal climate, used to see a lot of the on Folly Beach outside of Charleston.

Yeah they usually break themselves off (release tail) if you handle too much. Kinda cool, but gross.
