instead try this,and beware the wife wont like it much....3 3in pinfish blend them up real good,use a turkey baster,I use red headed paddletail also works great in the flats as a splatter scum....huge hint..... scare the little buggers with a spoon ,they release hormones{fear}it gets the gators lookin around.
dont laugh till you try it,i have done this with shiners in fresh water as a spike holy heck does it produce........

But I often find success using Bassassain 5" candycorn eels

Throw what the fish are feeding on and if presented properly you can be successfull too.

I've heard recently that FishBites is coming out with a bait shaped like a shrimp. We'll probably see a lot more of these types of products in the near future.
