I was changing the hooks out on this Lucky Craft Sammy 85 and took a good look at the hardware. This picture is not too clear but I think that you can see that the wire loop coming out of the tail is not closed. It doesn't appear to be broken, I have to assume this is the way the lure was designed. Seems pretty shoddy to me on a supposed premium, $15 lure.
If any of you guys have one I would appreciate it if you would look and see if yours is the same way.

I figured out what happened, they put the hook hangar in backwards when they assembled the lure. :thumbdown:
