Oyster Bay 2-23
I paddled out and fished the tail end of the outgoing tide in oyster bay this morning. There was little to no wind, and the water was very murky near shore due all the rain the last couple days. The fish were hard to find, but I was able to find a few on some oyster bottom in very shallow water. Their tails were waving at me like hands, so I waved back at them with a gulp and jighead. I caught a couple more to about 20 inches blind casting with a gold spoon, and headed back to the hill by 10 in the morning for some breakfast. The rest of the day was spent putting in a new livewell in the skiff. I'm ready for tomorrow
