CANCEL ! Looking for a decent running 90 - 120 hp outboard.

Post by KarstRanger »

Thanks for all the replies both on the forum and PMs on my search for a motor. I have decided to dump the free boat and buy a decent boat/motor combo for the river here. Actually the wife told me to quit screwing around trying to save money and get a real boat   -- I just can't argue with that :-D

I am (wuz) looking for a decent running 90 - 120 hp outboard. Got a free 19' boat wth a blown motor and I would like to use it on the river now that my other river boat has about bit the dust.

Thanks P.P. , I grew up in P'cola, and occasionally participate in that forum, but alas anything they have for sale is likely six long hours away just like Mom's house is... :smt010

A friend has a 90 Merc...3 years old...minimal hours...excellent maintenance. He is upgrading to a 150. If interested p.m. me for details. Location Tallahassee.

Thanks JT51  , but I don't think I can afford a motor that new for my old river boat. I am working with another forum member on a 1980 Johnson that may work out.

A fishing buddy of mine just replaced his 115 Johnson. The motor is around 25-30 years old, but it still runs fine. If you'd like his contact info just send me a message and I'll get you in touch with him.
